Maoist leaders Bandi Prakash, National Park Secretary Dilip, Maddedu Area Secretary Seetu, DC Member Ramanna, Munna, Sunitha, Mahesh and ten other Maoist leaders are in the custody of the Chhattisgarh Police. They should be immediately produced in court without killing them in the name of encounter.
In a village in the Indravati National Park area of Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh state, Maoist Party Central Committee Member Sudhakar, Telangana State Committee Member Mailarapu Adelu @ Bhaskar, Bandi Prakash, National Park Secretary Dilip, Maddedu Area Secretary Seetu, Ramanna DC Member, Munna, Sunitha, Mahesh and ten other Maoist leaders were arrested by the police. Yesterday, Sudhakar was killed in the name of an encounter. Similarly, Adelu @ Bhaskar was also killed in a fake encounter this evening. There is a risk that Bandi Prakash and other Maoist leaders in their custody will be killed in the name of an encounter. Civil Rights Committee, Telangana demands that they be immediately produced in court without any harm. Killing Maoist leaders found alive in an encounter is unconstitutional and illegal. We demand that democratic and opposition parties across the country condemn this openly. Civil Rights Committee, Telangana demands that the central government also declare a ceasefire as announced by the Maoist party and hold peace talks with the Maoist party......
